In addition to the business of fitness training and writing, Dawn also works with companies, churches, schools and groups that desire health and strength within their organizations. Her seminars are motivational, informative and, like her training style, are mixed with fun, laughter and activity. “Folks who know me know I have a passion for fitness. I have a thirst for knowledge and a strong desire to share what I know. I love to laugh and have fun, and my seminars are an extension of me.”
Dawn believes that fitness and health is more than that of the body—that it takes balance in the spirit, mind and body. Her talks address all three, and how improving each area affects the others to create a healthy balance. That balance also translates from improving the individual’s body to improving companies that desire taking business to the next level. “A fit, healthy and happy workforce creates an atmosphere where creativity and productivity can flourish. I want to help each employee, and in turn, each company, be its own “Personal Best”.
Dawn also works with companies to improve the fitness and productivity of their workforce by organizing and implementing Employee Fitness Challenges, moderating Healthy Lifestyle Support Groups, Safety Meetings, etc. “Each company I work with is as individual as the human body is unique, and my role there is tailored to fit the individual needs of each.”
More than just cheerleading, Dawn’s motivational speaking also educates, with practical, down-to-earth ways in which people can immediately begin to see positive change in their lives. “Fitness and wellness is a multi-billion dollar industry. But for all the information, supplements and gadgets out there, people are still confused as to what does and doesn't work. At each seminar, I strive to ensure folks come away with real strategies they can put into practice today to improve their lives.”
